If China can do it, why can’t we?

China’s GMO labeling laws are tightening up.  China has required GMO labeling since 2001, and now they are establishing separate shelf space in stores for genetically modified foods.  They’re also seeing an increase in the sale of non-GMO foods.  As I’ve mentioned before, if you want to buy non-GMO products in the US, you should buy certified organic.  Additionally, you can look for the Non GMO Project verification label on the items.  These items may or may not be certified organic, but they will not contain GMOs.  If you’re still in the dark on GMOs, check out my posts on November 5th and 7th to get a refresher.  Just say no to GMOs!
